This looks like an interesting option for laundry on the road.

Exactly what I thought. Travels with Charley was the book.Isn't that what Steinbeck did so many years ago?
I think we are on the same page. As long as everyone on a trip is in the same boat you don't notice a little BO like you do in the office. People need to learn to adjust their standards to the prevailing conditions.I have a 19 years in and 6 deployments....on the 6th now. Wash your sox, and underwear, in MRE bag. There are so many gimmics (to make things EASIER). I just laugh sometimes at all of the kit people pack on a trip. More kit, more to clean, more $$$ and more $hit to put some were. Hell take a shower with your cloths on and wash them first , then wash yourself 2nd. Done.....sorry for the rant!:coffeedrink:
Five gallon bucket full of soapy water and clothes, tied to the bumper on the way to your next destination:snorkel:
I've tried soap and a rock in a nalgene bottle to wash my undies before...worked pretty good. You could even call it a backcountry "shake weight" :coffeedrink:
Please tell me you don't still drink out of that bottle!
