I'd place the fabric James Baroud uses in the proprietary category along with Autohome. James Baroud is a new product to the US, from personal observation it appears to be very heavy, but the other properties such as breathability, water resistance, color, mold resistance, UV resistance, wear due to abrasion, etc are unknown. The fabric also seems to be easily damaged.

Howling Moon makes a good tent, they use a lighter weight rip stop poly-cotton. Middle of the road tent fabric, much better than the Chinese fabric, but not as good as the in house milled and treated fabrics.

It did, has this happened to you? Any ideas? I wish I would have just shut it off and started it back up to begin with, but we were really in the middle of nowhere and I didn't want to get stranded. I was just really happy to get it to go into gear at all, so I drove for 40 miles to the first town in first gear, then shut it off. Then of course it was working fine when I started it back up.

After a bit of searching on the internet I've found out that this has happened with quite a few 2012-2013 jk's, mostly Rubicons. For most people though it has happened in 4wd. Apparently the "fix" is to turn it off and then back on to let the computer reset.
