LED Light Bars; Post Up Pics

I am going to mount a 30"-34" LED bar on the top of the bumper, between the uprights bars, just in front of the winch access panel

I would NEVER pay more than $400 for a bar, and would NEVER give RIGID any of my money.

Anyone using an off brand LED bar, with good results?

Anyone using one of those wireless wiring harness kits?

Please let me know what size bar you are running, how many lumen, and if you have any pos/negative comments about it or any suggestions

I'm using some totron light bar with good result!! I have a 30" curved and a 20" for the price its very good! They have polycarbonate lens! I they are plug on the same switch but they have there own relay. I bought them on ebay ( make sure they are totron dc or dcx ( for curve one) befor order) hope this help!

I bought an inexpensive Chinese no-name light bar that uses ten 10-watt CREE LEDs with a combo spot/flood beam pattern. I mounted it to a roller fairlead light mounting bracket. I can't imagine anyone but a Baja 1000 racer needing any more light than this little light bar puts out. I can safely move at 70+mph along desert 2-tracks and have plenty of stopping distance - a Jeep is simply incapable of outdriving the range of this light bar.

Chinese bar here, on our bII. It's a "digidiodes" bar, but honestly, brand is irrelevant. the market is so saturated with people importing them and selling them under different names, and i'm sure they're all from the same place in china. Cree leds have a few more lumens than epistar leds do, and typically the bars with cree leds have a polycarbonate lens, as opposed to a glass lens that's incuded with epistar leds (both are offered by the same company in china)
I have the 30" on the bronco above, and a 40" on the roof rack of my chevy. Both are plenty bright for the slow speeds i drive.

Cyclops (VisionX) made in the USA. 29" XPI bar. 5 watt diodes and tilted optics with 1.5" reflectors.

The car in the driveway (reflectors visible on left side of pic) is 600yds from my shop. Cell phone pics don't do it justice, in person you can tell the make/model.

I don't have a photo but I've got a 20". Holy crap, if you need more, either you are driving too quickly or you are doing it wrong. Mine is mounted on my ARB bumper (defender ARB). Its so bright, its more of a toy than anything. And yes, its my favorite.

Give southeast overland a ring on LED lights. They have them at extremely reasonable prices. All prices on their website. www.southeastoverland.com Steve is good people and he ships everywhere if you aren't in the Southeast.

I put a Baja Designs 20" Stealth on the front if my truck and LOVE IT!! Highly recomended. It's a bit more expensive than the no name bars but with a lifetime warranty I thing it's really worth the added cost. And it only 20" this thing is crazy bright! Like driving with two or even three high quality HID's running.

Some of them are a hybrid type that have reflectors that shoot out far, but also a lens that will bend light down and splay it out wide.

Bought these from Amazon. The bar is 32". Cost me more in shipping than the cost of the bar at $18.00! I may add more light bars to the front bumper on either side of the winch. The bar came with this wimpy switch, I'm going wire in a proper toggle throw switch instead for all the lights.

I import Aurora lights which are arguably the closest to Rigid's and some have said come from the same factory.

I have a 400w 40" combo bar that uses 80 Olson brand LED chips, as well as 2 - 40w flood lights in the front, and 2 - 40w diffusion lights for back up/dust light duty

These things are crazy bright and the front bar punches a hole thru the darkness incredibly well

This is one of the diffusion lights sitting on my radiator support, truck was 25ft from the wall and I was about 25ft behind the truck

I've held most of the "Chinese" bars and personally think the Aurora and Soye make the best 'off brand' bars
