Hello everyone,

Well I'm new to this site and forum and decided I would start with this.
Does anybody know were I could find these LED lights? I have searched the net and found nothing.
This image is from this site and I found no details.

Thanks

I use these all over the place. I have one on the inside of my fridge lid, for viewing goodies at night, two on the indside ceiling corners of my camper shell for use when camping (great reading lights!) and I also have two of these located on the inside lower corners of my rear camper shell window. When the window is opened, they act as lighting for the tailgate area, when cooking or cleaning. They are cheap, very bright, and easily available (I got mine at Advanced Auto Parts) They run on a large watch type battery, and have 3M type double sided tape on the back. (and they come in black!)

I sound like an advertisement.....

Actually, I just read that they take three AAA batteries...? I assumed they took a watch battery because when you get them you have to pull out a plastic tab in order to let the battery get contact. I just asumed this was a smaller watch type battery and have never taken the rear cover off.... AAA are easier to find anyway, and you can get the high capacity batts!

Do a search on E Ba Y for "Dot-It" and they are rediculously cheap. You cant go wrong with them....

I believe those are the lights in either Scotts (expeditionswest) or Chris's (bajataco) tacoma. I know Scott is in Moab right now, and Chris may be with him. They will be back early next week...you might send them a PM asking about the lights...

*edit: They are definately on Scott's tacoma. I don't know anything about them...but send him a PM, I'm sure he will give you all the info you need.

Never priced the LED versions. I have the L5/18, which is a 18" gooseneck, 5W halogen bulb with a dimmer and top exit permanent mount. I paid about $45 for it from Performance Audio in SLC, UT.

I don't know what the cost is exactly but they are over $100 each.
