this is a certain rig that inspired me to sas my tahoe.

i with radius arms instead of leafs, i like to think of them as fraternal twins...

My Tahoe has come a long way since that pic was taken. I upgraded to a Vortec 5.3 since then. EMS Offroad did all the mechanical work.

I have too much invested to sell it. I'm going to have to keep it for life unless someone offers to trade a ford excursion with a 7.3 for it.

Here are a few from this past weekend; trip through the Ozark National Forest with the Christian Crawlers 4x4 Club. I was the only non-Jeep there!

Hey Brian! We actually met at Crawl 4 Christ at SMORR a couple of years ago.

I am registered on ucora, but I keep forgetting to check in there! :(

This has to be one of my favorite trucks right now! How are you liking the leaf springs in the front vs. coils or coil overs?

Thanks! I've never driven a vehicle with links+coils so I can't really compare, but the longer 52" springs ride beautifully and they flex very very well. Eventually I want to link it simply to say I can (plus better approach angle and steering geometry, but I digress), as it would be a huge learning experience.

Nice truck. I like the newer GM center caps with the Hummer wheels.
Was there much work to fit them?

No work at all. The 07-10 HD center caps fit the H2 wheels without any modification. That being said, I obviously had to modify the front two to fit over the locking hubs.

Here's a better view:

I'll have to check that place out sometime when I'm back in Missouri!
