New to me 2001 Ram 1500. Rear limited slip, front locker, rebuilt transmission with 10 year warranty (Done March 2014). I just installed some weather stripping around the tailgate and sealed it up pretty well and I'm probably going to order a BedRug soon and just throw an inflatable mattress down. I'd like to do front and rear tube bumpers, shackle flip, front 2.5" springs, better shocks and 33s. I ride dirtbikes so I need to find/build a good hitch carrier. I'm wanting to keep it light and simple, able to cruise off road at a good pace, do moderate trails, and camp out of it for a few nights. I'm hoping to do some of the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route this summer.

Welcome to ExPo Roth. I've looked at the OBDR and wonder if you can take a truck with bed camper on any of it? All the info I see says it was built as an ATV type trail, but lots of pics look like fire/logging roads?

Thanks Maximus, your truck looks/sounds BA also. My 47re is going in to ATS soon, 100,000 miles of driving like I stole it have finally killed the converter. ( I hope its the converter) Snowy and cold here, and she doesn't fit in the garage so I've been putting it off.

Long time lurker/reader figured it was time to post a few pics of my rigs.

#1- 1989 Chevy K1500- 350/700R4- Inherited from my grandfather recently. Bit ugly on the outside, but he ordered it new and took meticulous care of the drivetrain. 115K on the ticker and it runs like a top. Doing a nice job as a daily driver and camping rig while I'm finishing the build on #2. (got a pic with my co-pilot sitting still)

#2- is a dream come true- 1984 Dodge W350 Crew. Just yanked the puny 360V8 and np435, swapping in a 94 12 Valve cummins from a Ford Bus (only 23K miles!) freshly rebuilt NV4500 and reusing the NP205. Front is a Dana 60 i just regard and rebuilt (3.54) and rear is a Dana 80 limited slip. 2.5 in Skyjacker soft rides upfront and a shackle flip to match in the rear. I'll start a new thread with the full build up. Anyways, here is a pic before I torn it apart, and one as it sits now:
