After many Jeeps, a couple Discos & 2 Land Cruisers I crossed another one off the vehicle bucket list with an Excursion. I always thought they were a great platform for an expo rig. It's big for sure! Since taking ownership I've been able to successfully navigate it on some tight trails & logging roads during the PA hunting season with little more than some tree branch racing stripes. It also made the trip from PA to Gunnison National Forest & back clocking about 3800 miles. It worked great.
It's an 04 gasser and so far I've replaced the front springs & added the bumper & winch, 285/75-16 KO2's on F250 steelies, MM hubs, roof rack, running board removal and a tool box full of essentials in the back w/ 3rd row seat removed. Complete baseline with all new fluids. Hope to work on some more interior upgrades over the winter.

NICE! I just bought my first Ford Excursion for us, two grand kids we are raising, my wife and I, and I love it already.
2000 7.3 with a turner that makes it a rocket, and loaded with all the comforts.
Plans are to life it, 37"-38" tires, tube the back quarter panels, big nerf bars, winch, big roof rack, and wheel it.
Hey guys , so I sold my Tacoma yesterday so I can now come play with the big boys
Here is what I will be going to. 2005 Chevy 2005 with a LLY Duramax, Allison trans, 4wd and the short bed that I wanted with 150k miles on it. It's got some brand of 3" lift with brand new bilstein 5100s, BFGs on ProComp wheels. I will be starting a new build so please follow along. Have some mods planned already but nothing too crazy.
