How to you strap your tire down on your yakama rack? Using ratchet straps? Nice truck, looks great with the rack.

Thank you! And no I used the Yakima spare tire carrier. It was $100 but I'm able to lock it to prevent theft and it's never moved an inch. And I beat the crap out of the truck offroading and fly down the highway. Very pleased.

My new, to me, 1993 Dodge 250 12-valve Cummins beast.

Gonna take me a couple years to get it to where I'd like it to be in order to get a camper and do some traveling, but I'm pretty excited about it. The interior is huge and the truck is just beat up enough that I'm not worried about drilling a hole here or there to do things I want to it. Never want it to be a show truck, just a mechanically sound, reliable, and functional tool for me to explore with.

Just picked it up on Wednesday - 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z-71. Crew Cab, 5.3L, automatic, pretty much stock mechanically.. I'll be slowly building this one up for PLENTY of trips to the beach, surfing, camping, snowboarding, the desert, etc etc. Super stoked. I've been waiting a long time to get me one of these.
