How do you like those tires?

So far so good. Have a bout 25K on them 315/70R17 Geolanders. Seems like all the real hard core Carli and thuren guys only run Geolanders or Toyos. So if there good enough to be jumped thru baja at 90mph then they will be fine on my street truck.

Okay, so technically its a mid-size..but at a 131" WB it runs about the same size as most trucks, albiet narrower. As noted in my intro thread, I'm 18 so I cant afford a bunch of mods, so most work is done myself. Mods/Specs do include, however:

-Top-End Rebuild & Porting @ 90k mi (Bought at 88k, currently 94k)
-Gibson Ceramic Headers
-JBA Stainless Y-Pipe
-K&N Air Intake
-Gibson 3" Cat-Back
-Cobra 19 CB
-Wilson Electronics Cell Amplifier (Not installed in pics above)
-31x10.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler Silent-Armor w/ 3.55 gear
-4x4, obviously

Next on list is a Undercover hard tonneau, which will be a mounting point for eventual rear lights and exped. rack.

Nice dakota! If I could go back to 18 with a truck like that. I would get a job for a couple months, get a cap and some carpet, a cheap or free mattress, save a bit of money, try to install a cute girl and just go. Go to mexico, or go across the us, or go to Cali, or the east coast. Pick somewhere and go.

Then again, I'm 25 and that is my plan anyway. Have fun with it!

That is my favorite color on a Dakota. Years ago I wanted a Dakota R/T in that color blue. I even saved a picture of one I found.

Thanks guys, and yeah, Im enjoying being young while I still can. I bought the truck myself a few months before my 16th birthday, and have done all work on it myself except for a trans and brake flush. Got it for a steal at $6500 (Out the door at $7200 because of first time registration, plates, ect) and have probably put about $3k into it over two years. Lots of man hours though. Like lstzephyr mentioned, I eventually plan to drive it cross country after I finish schooling and save up some trip funding.

As a side note, I found out my uncle is getting a Unimog camper made... jealous.
