First post here, after lurking for years...

This is my rig. 2003 F-250, 6.0 Diesel. 293,000 miles.

This is as it sits today, in the middle of upgrades for 2016 vacation. Had some rust to repair so I ended up Linex-ing the whole truck.

Here is a pic from vacation 2015, when the truck was still white. This is in Colorado on our way to Glacier National Park in MT. 5000 Miles round trip

FNG in the PNW

Hi guys,

Been lurking for a while and figured I'd join up.

Here's my rig:

96' Ram 2500 w/ turned up a little 5.9, Jake and airbags in the back. Farm/work truck, and DD when I'm not out to sea. Had her for about 5 years and planning on doing some building soon.

Plans include a Buckstop Sahara bumper, Tradesman canopy, and a suspension kit from Dodge Offroad...

Nope that for the exhaust brake. I got it from my fire mechanic at my old department, he used to do some pretty serious towing over the passes.

So, I used to do wildland firefighting in the summer, and the company I worked for had a pretty sweet rig...thought you guys might like it.

'76 Oshkosh 6x6 "Attack Tender" 2500gal water tank, attack line on the back, monitor on the front. Would make one hell of an overland rig.

An introduction and some pics

New to the site and enjoying the content. Here are some pics of my primary ride, as well as an old friend. More pics to follow.

2000 F250 4x4 SCSB PSD. Bought new in July 2000, now with 330K miles. Here launching the boat at Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California in 2005

And my old friend. A 1982 Datsun 720 Kingcab 4x4. Purchased new and modded, rolled, fixed, tripped, and sold in 1997 with 200K plus miles.
