California weather is crazy, like lefties here, from summer to 4 ft of snow in 7 days ?‍♂️
Those pictures are taken on the January 18th
exploring the desert, this Area We went to explore and camp is very active geologicaly, lots of minerals as you see how red the mountain is,
Lots of Iron and sulfur gives that beautiful reddish orange color.

Here's dad's 1998 C3500 Crew Cab. Passed down to me when he was called home. Took me 2.5 years to get it from my mom as I was not ready to take his truck. I have it now and been deleting the chrome getting it ready for my camping vehicle.

Such a great looking truck to start with. Love those OBS crew cabs. Very cool to see the truck get a second generation life. Fun way to honor your dad.

On ours everything was on linear actuators and timers, so one button on the remote would make the soft top roll back, DJ booth on scissor lift (with DJ, if called-for) to rise out of the back of the vehicle, tailgate slowly drop, smoke machine and strobes start firing, TV screens (it was 2004... sorry) rise up out of the bedside boxes, rear windows roll down to reveal the speakers... etc. - then press the button again and the whole thing would pack up again.

You forgot to mention what appears to be a brass pole sprouting up from the bed. What would that be used for?

Finally got around to getting my suspension sorted out , sitting at 2” of lift now. Canopy is on and the 35s fit fine with no rubbing and even the spare fits . View attachment 637994View attachment 637995

I like the older GM's and Ford's They're reasonable aerodynamic in contrast to the blocks of wood they produce now.
