Just spent five days in sub freezing temps in the mountains skiing, windows froze open most of the time. I will have to try the Sil Glyde for my next trip.

I have wondered about this too. I have had jeeps, samurais, and now a 4runner with a soft top, and the windows do not like cold. I had the samurai back window crack while trying to load it up when it was freezing. The old Jeeps and the 4runner tops are almost impossible to get on when it's cold. If I have the side windows rolled up on the 4runner and it gets to 60 degrees, they are not going to cooperate.

Hmmm it got to -12 here the other night (windchill was around -20). I wonder what that would do to the plastic?
Do they make fabric inserts to delete the windows? Do you guys do any extra waterproofing (spraying?)

Snug top XTR with reinforced roof for x-tra weight. Owned it for 5 years has had aluminum rack on it for 4 years. Canopy has lived in 2 degree temps for up to 7 days at a time. If I had to do over I would go with fiberglass side doors. No need for windoors as that is just more glass to get broke and no one rides back their anyhow. I would recommend fold down forward window, it works great. Rear door seems fairly durable as it has been hyper-extended a few times from backing out of my garage. Only maintenance item: replace struts on rear door 1 time.
