Lid for M101

Hi, thought I'd check back and see if you've been able to determine if you can do the lid for an m416 and what total cost and shipping might be. Still very interested as I'd rather pay someone that's done it before and can get it right (even with shipping costs) than be a guinea pig for someone in St. Pete! :)

Sorry for everyone who ask about the cover. Some family mathers to take care. Right now seems like shipping cost is a total killer. I haven't done any serious research for good price. But if anyone is willing to look it up. Part would be about 55" x 75" x 8", about 65pounds. shipping from J6J4Z2, QC, Canada.

Where in Canada are you? If you're close to WA, I could drive up there. I'd be interested in a lid similar to the AT Chaser, if you could bend aluminum of course. Can a automotive weathestrip seal be applied (is there a lip under the lid) to make the trailer water tight?

I checked shipping to FL based on the specs you gave. Looks like about $265, but then another $150 or so to pick up residential on your end and deliver residential on my end. Not cheap.

How much is the time, parts and labor for the m416 lid?

No rush at all on the response particularly if you're handling some family stuff...

Thx.

lid for m101 is 375$, i would have to verify for a 416, they are wider so i cannot simply use a 60" standard sheet.

And you are not counting possible customs broker fee. I can supply certificate of origin.

I think I'd like to make the trip to get one, too. I wouldn't need any customs nonsense if I were just driving up, paying cash, and driving it back, would I?

I don't have all the answers, but I believe with the NAFTA Certificate it should be smooth sailing across the border. Even if you have to declare it, I don't think they'd be able to charge you much given a bill of sale showing the value.

Hopefully I'll have time to do a little online research this weekend on the subject. I'll post back any info I find out.

I'm going to post back when i have a few built.

Cool.
I might be interested as well (price seems pretty decent). Been looking to build one for myself but don't have the time and my shop is 3285miles away :(

Where are you located BTW?

Thanks,
Jason
