Arrggghhh!!!! I ordered mine about a month ago and, of course, paid full price!
I'm about half-way through putting it together and I'm pretty impressed so far. This thing at $2k is a friggin DEAL!
Do you plan to use as is or is modification on the radar?

I bought the floor model 2 d gen from my local Costco for 1400 last summer. Great little trailer! I have used it more for hauling debris, rock and wood then camping in it.
As for larger tires, took spacers, new rims/wheels and a 2 inch lift on the shackles. I went to a 205/75/15. It they were close to the frame, so I initially put spacers in it to push the wheels out. Ultimately did not like that, plus wanted a better axle, so I opted for a 3500# axle.
Other modification include a pair of scissor mount jacks on the rear and a spare tire mounted under the tongue.
It is currently at a friends shop having a marine battery mounted on the tongue.
My current total investment is under $2200.
It is not an Expo trailer, but does what my family of 3 boys, wife and I want.

As is. I have three boys that love to camp. I bought this just to make our excursions a little more comfortable.
However, the unit is SOA, so it wouldn't take much to add some larger tires and such...
Sounds great! After the work you've done, in your opinion would it be possible to beef it into an expo rig? Is the frame strong?
