Lift kit and tires size for my rig!!

Then gear it to the tire size you really want/need. Think long and hard.
Terrain will matter, whether you plan to ever tow, how much weight.
4.10s will spin 33s fine unless you tow; then you'd want 4.56.
4.56 might be good for 35s 'til you add weight and/or trailer --- then you'd want 4.88 or even 5.13.
The Pentastar is a good motor, better than the 3.8, but it's no torque monster.

So in conclusion I'm thinking: 35s, 2" lift and gear upgrade to 5.13 does this sounds good. Thanks in advance!!!

I've driven a 15 with 35s and 4.10 gears and found it perfectly acceptable. AEV builds almost all of their Jk350 packages with the 35s/4.10 combo. 4.56 would be plenty even if you tow. I'm also located in PA.

Whoa there buddy... 5.13 with 35's on a 3.6L JK would be awesome if you NEVER took it on the highway. 4.56 is the rational gear choice for balanced city, highway, and trail driving with 35's. The only people I know who run 5.13s in a 2012+ JK are the ones running 40s or rock crawlers on 37s. For some reason or another 4.10 and 4.56 cost more than the other ratios, but the amount is a drop in the barrel compared to the price of the whole job. Check with guys in your area for a reputable shop for doing the re-gear. It isn't something you want your average mechanic to mess with. Prices range from $1k to ~$2k depending on your area.

How heavy are you going to run?
How often on the highway?
Ever going to tow?
How hilly?

I'm Hilldweller ---- I really am in the hills... And have tow up the hills. Sometimes dropping all the way down to second gear in a manual just to keep going (on paved road with 55 mph speed limit).
That's my personal experience level.

4.10 and 35 is flatland combo. 4.56 if you never tow and don't run too heavy.
I'd say that 4.56 or 4.88 from what you've described. AEV used to give you 4.88 on the old motor with 35s and an automatic and it was dog-awful in the hills. So I personally think they undergear. I know plenty of people that put 5.13s and 35s with the old motor and then wished for 5.38...

Any chance that you can drive a few friends' rigs?

For me, right now, I'd be happy with 4.56 on my Jeep with 33s. That would give me the umph I'd want.

I have a 2011 with 33's 2" of lift and 3.73. Granted I am on the old motor. I live in a place that has no idea what a flat piece of road is. Now, its not rocky mountain, but we are in the appalacian mountain range and Have the Highest Ski mountain east of the rockies, so that gives you an idea. With my rig, no wind in the picture, it drops one gear going up all hills, toss in wind and on long climbs, she will goto 4k rpm, most time tho it will hit 3 on up hill. Crusing on pretty level roads with just minor rollers, she will sit at 1700-1800 rpm and not drop a gear. Loaded or empty it does not matter. put the pop up on, it will hit 4k more but will not drop whatever speed I have the cruise set on. Im pretty impressed. No passing power, but crusie all day at whatever speed I want.

Thanks to all that helped to educate me in this matter, after studying the chart and reading the comments. I think I'm going with a 2.5" lift and 4.56 ratio!! with this option according to the chart I can run 35s and safely run 37s if I want in the future. I'm not doing heavy rock climbing but occasionally will hit a moderate trail here and there and maybe a small trailer for my camping trips keeping my drive-ability good. Thanks for all the help!!!

Sounds like the OP has come to a decision, which is great.

I just went to 315/70-17s from 285/70-17s (both D rated Cooper AT3s) and I'm really glad I did. There has been no traumatic mileage or acceleration loss (4.10 ratio). The ride improvement on the street and highway is much improved with the extra rubber and I know offroad it is going to be amazing aired down.

The other aspect is the weight. I have a 2.5" AEV lift and all the equipment I have in full camp mode makes the ride less plush. The larger tires have taken the edge off that which is really nice when traveling with family.
