Lil' Something I Bought Today

You know, now you have to get matching rims/tires for the trailer. :luxhello:

Are those fenders going to be able to handle 40s?

Congrats on your trailer acquisition. I remember seeing that trailer about 3 years ago in the Outlaw Offroad booth at Off Road Expo in Pomona. Nice rig. SOA if I remember correctly.

Yes - One more cool thing is that the wheel on the trailer are 17x9 Superduty bolt pattern (8x170) and the guy I am buying the trailer from has 5 more, just like them - true bead lock - only issue is they are ORANGE!!! Gotta rectify that - don't want to clash with my RED Rhino Lined Rocker Panels.

The trailer does have spring over axle - and I can fit 40's with a little larger shackle - although I am not sure I am going to try and fit 40's as the bed of the trailer is already pretty high - and I am 6'4" - it would be at least 3 inches higher with 40's on it - and that might be stretching it a bit for functionality.

I'm excited! Anyone want to go camping?? :)

I saw your trailer at the Sand Show yesterday. Wow  What a clean, well thought out design. One of the most impressive trailers I have ever seen. The water system underneath is wel lbuilt with all the added protection. Did your friend build this trailer, or did Outlaw Offroad? The tow rig at the show was very clean as well. Congrats on the trailer, makes me want to sell my M-416 and build one just like it.

One of the owners of Outlaw built the trailer (he is my friend). He has used it probably 3 times in the 5 years he has had it and when I mentioned I was in the market, he offered me a great deal on it.

I think it is put together very nicely, but as always, I can think of a few things I am going to do to it to make it "mine".

He's using at Sand Sport Expo and the Pomona Offroad Show to complement his completely insanely built Jeep.

Tell your buddy to meet me at the off road show so we can go over the details of the trailer he is going to build me. :D I will check it out again when I go to the off road show.

I saw that trailer last year at the expo too. The guy has had a 007 Grand Cherokee for quite some time. Is he switching something else now or just ditching the trailer?

He just never used the trailer. When I asked about the Jeep - he said, "Everything's for sale for the right price."

Wow dude... Small world. I know the guy that *I think* you bought that trailer from. Aussie accent? First name Bond? If it's who I'm thinking of, he worked at Autobytel.com (I'm in their IT dept) as a sales rep for some time before starting Outlaw Offroad w/ his brother.

Haven't seen that trailer in years. Glad to see its going to get some good use. :)
