Just wanted to provide an update since I just received a PM. Two days after we relisted for sale a guy flew in from Tucson and bought it.

Congratulations. Awesome van. By the way, how do you like the camper side AC system? Looks like it takes in air and exhaust through the floor? In our next build I would be interested to learn more about that setup and how you like it. Would be great to have AC not mounted on the roof (lower profile roof, more room for solar, etc.).

Thanks! Yes the A/C has an intake and exhaust tube run through the floor. I love the A/C but would not recommend it unless you have excellent insulation and you properly insulate the single pane windows in your rig. Otherwise this A/C does not have the power to cool the space.

I recommend the Kingtec roof mounted A/C if you want the most efficient/best cooling A/C.

Beautiful build! Any reason you chose the Promaster over the Transit?

Thanks!

The Promaster is the better choice over the Transit for a few reasons but the main are:
1. More interior volume per length. The Promaster has 6'4" in usable height and 6'3" width.
2. Front wheel drive. We drove back country Utah all through Mexico and Central America. Front wheel drive got us through some challenging situations. It is better off road

As far as I am concerned the only reasons to choose a Transit over a Promaster or Sprinter are:
1. You are over 6'4"
2. You need to tow a heavy trailer
