locating a center locking diff for my DII?

I'd try to normal suspects ... Will Tillery, Paul Grant, Marty Powell ... most of these guys have those LT-230s laying around. That's where I'd start.

On my 2003 I did a whole T/C with linkage cables from an 04

Got it from a dismanteler in AL with 9,000 miles for 585 shipped

I have a good working high miles DII unit for $150 plus shipping. Guaranteed to work. Maybe combine the best of both.
Even have a DI shifter linkage for $115 shipped.

By "high miles" you don't mean miles driven above 5,000 feet in elevation, huh? I'm trying to avoid headaches. Would a high mileage unit invite more anguish for me?

This unit had 300,000 miles (previous owner used it to go back and forth from CA to his ranch in Montana). Worked fine with no humm. I would disassemble both and combine the best of both into one.
