My rear sway bar has been off a long time now. I disconnect the front when off road. I like having suspension travel.

Yea tacoma one is this week.

Moab is cool no doubt. Trails for every type of vehicle. Don't let that hold you back.

Haha only the Xterra guys do. My Frontier does not.
I need to get this done here next week!

Oh and it's been so slow at work today I read through your whole thread.
It was fun seeing all the Montana pics and being like 'ooo I've been there' or 'jeez, where's that. Have to mark it for later.'

Oh I know there is a huge variety. What I meant was the truck was not ready for the level of trails I wanted to do. And in the process of trying to get it ready, I kind of ran out of money to do the actual trip haha

Get on it!

Haha thanks for reading. It's been a fun process thus far. I came to the realization recently that I am frighteningly close to being "finished" with this project. There just isn't all that much left to do on it. One or two big ticket items, but the rest is small stuff that is easy to tackle. Once I get the rear bumper on (that's next after finishing off the suspension), the exterior mods are done. Then it's down to stuff like a winch, air compressor, nav system, etc. Relatively low cost stuff.

Yeah this state has been just a joy to explore. Can't wait to get out for more this summer. :)

Got my trans cooler setup together yesterday. It was a pretty straightforward operation all things considered. I'm happy with how it turned out, but I'm not sure if the fan is working or not. I haven't heard it engage at all, and I've tried to force it (stop and go traffic, driving through my neighborhood at 2000 rpm with my foot on the brake, etc). So I'll keep driving on it for a bit and see if I can hear it or see it working at all. If not, I'll start testing things. Make sure the fuse is not blown, check the relay. If all that is working properly I may need to look into the thermostatic switch. That's really the only part that worries me much. I can test it with some boiling water, so I'll try that. If it all works, I'll just not worry about hearing it.
