Keep in mind they are decorative generally, and actually cause more damage to a truck, even in light accidents. Better to get a metal bumper.

Thanks all for the info, but a metal bumper is going set me back a few bucks.

Not as much as a fender bender with a brush guard. Save the brush guard money until you can get a good bumper fabbed up.

We call them Tumbleweed guards here in TX. That's about all they protect you from

Getting this custom build. Took the idea from the toyota Fj cruiser gaurd and had a guy custom weld me one. i will post a picture of it when its done in a few days from now.
