Looking for a buyer of my ebay Toyota Camper

Will see. Applying for some auction insurance. auctioninsurance.com

He did say 7 days cash only. I figured Western Union, Paypal, or even a visit to a branch of my bank 30 miles away from him would work in lieu of not being able to deliver cash, but I figured wrong. A less than perfect set of circumstances befell my purchase, so better to walk away than deliver cash via fed/ups. (that was supposed to be funny...Bueller, anyone?)
$500 lesson in dealing with ebay transactions with new ebay member, if insurance fails.

Wow, threads like this make me so glad I know all of the ins and outs of ebay, wish you all the best and hope this wasn't a $500 mistake. If you paid via paypal and the seller did not honor the details within the auction then you are protected, so DO NOT sit back and wait for him to feed you a line of BS, if I were in your shoes the money would be back in my account already and left him negative feedback. I don't mess around with sellers online, if they violate any detail no matter how small I get my money back, this is why I have 100% feedback with almost 300 transactions on ebay.

Thanks for hruhdu and others who chimed in. I was able with a minimum of fuss, able to get the $500 back thru a auction insurance. Apparently, they agreed that listing the same vehicle twice within the same sale was a no no. I did have to do some paperwork jump thrus, and finally was able to send via smartphone pics of the documents they wanted fax. About a month of no interest on the money, but back in my hands.

Another reason for a midwestern located member to depend on actual visual representation, and not jump at deals that seem real from a puter. Lesson semi-learned. Now, if I would just keep from reading the ebay and craigslist for sale posts.....lol.
