I'm taking serious consideration into selling my Defender 110 300Tdi, set up for daily driving and easy overlanding, and moving into a G-Wagen.
I'm wanting a step up in trim, so although I love the 460 versions, I think some of the 461 or 463's might actually suit me. I will be driving it daily, and overlanding for 3-4 day trips in the summer especially.
I don't NEED a diesel. But if the right version were in the truck, I'd jump on it. I'm actually thinking the in line 6 might suit me well. Again, this is a daily driver, I want AC, but I don't want anything with a digital readout on the dash -- even the early odometers are where I draw the line! If I want to experience the rough drive, I'll just start up the '65 Series IIa, and drive it with no top. I also am holding onto my '95 Range Rover Classic LWB. So my Land Rover fix will still be a thing.
What do I need to know? What suggestions do you have?
