I had a hard time building one from scratch for less than $1000. Aluminum is crazy expensive these days. There are a few other box companies. I would recommend any of them over Aluminess. I have had very bad luck with their products.
Owl vans boxes are pretty good in my experience. I've installed a few of them on other peoples rigs.
