LR3 Extended Warranty

Thank you siiiiiir! I have my eye on two in Houston right now. Quick question which would be a good thread topic (I think), how come there are no aftermarket fabricators that make lower control arms for these rigs yet(other than the one thats almost identical to LRs)? Too small of a market? I wish Camburg or Icon would make them but it seems they mostly do UCAs.

for what purpose? the control arms made do work.

Good luck finding a warranty company for a 7 year old vehicle with 80k miles. It will cost you many thousands and still won't cover normal wear items.

You are looking at a rover. Some are gems and run forever, some drive off the lot and fall apart. No matter how many stories you hear, it isn't going to make a difference because your truck will be different. Yes, there are common wear items on LR3s, but anything can go wrong at any time with any truck. Either you have the cajones to deal with it or you don't.

And talk about Toyota reliability to my 2 buddies who just had to replace a head gasket on a land cruiser and the other has gone through 2 transfer cases on a 4runner...

You put it very well, to me the risk is worth it. Unfortunately I went to the dealerships this weekend and both were sold last Friday, gotta jump on the next one I see.
