A vehicle as heavy as the LR3 is just going to eat tires quicker no matter what.
Load range E should be required for the LR3/4. Thinking the factory spec is too low, resulting in accelerated tire wear.

I am considering the Duratracs, but it sounds like they wear just too quickly. Wish I could get the KM2s in a decent 18 inch size.
I almost pulled the trigger on the GY Duratracs. It was the lack of load range that turned me away and that of the sage advice offered up by certain members. In the end, I landed on LT265/65R18/E BFG All-Terrain T/A KO's. If you do not want to be bothered with the bulge mods, then these will more than suffice. Best decision I've made in a long time
1K miles so far. Great HW and Off-road rides.
I'm running E range myself, and I believe they are also available in D if you somehow run light in one of these pigs.
Goodyear Duratrac is not available E range in the size he mentioned of 265/65x18
D range is not in that size either. Only 114SL which is right at the limit for factory minimum spec on stock LR3. At that point, there's not much sense in having such an aggressive tire pattern that won't hold up as well off road.
You definitely want LT tires on a truck this heavy. I know the OEM tires are P-rated, but if you're on here I'm going to assume you'll be off-road at least a little. Even if you aren't looking to tame the Rubicon you'll want the LTs.
BFG AT KO. Nothing will beat it in regards to on road/off road performance that's not mud. 60k lifespan all day. People who put big mud tires on a vehicle that is on road 90% of the time just want looks. Not performance.
