LR4 Purchase

Ok guys after a few months of research and tons of help from you guys I am finally going to test drive and hopefully pick up the LR4 i have been looking at. It is a 2010 base model. Just had a few questions about what I should check for that may need replacing. I thought i read that the control arms where a little better in the LR4 so if thats the case hopefully i won't have to worry about them. The water pump has been replaced so i guess that was one of the things i was gunna look at. Also it says that the Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed, dunno if thats good or bad. Not much you need to look for. I would check the status of the brakes, they tend to go through them quickly.

So I guess I'll be looking at brake pads and control arms and hopefully it won't have any problems that I don't notice!

They are pretty reliable. However any idiot can go Dukes of Hazard with any vehicle. Put it on the lift and see what it looks like on the underside.

However most of these trucks are soccer mom mobiles. Except for scratches and fries in between the rear seats, they should be in good working order.
