Hello no need of a frame it is useless and ad extra weight.
The are glue together with a fiber glass profil that i design and make.
What are these panels called?
Do you know if they are available in North America?

This type of construction looks very interesting.

Can I use an Aluminum angle instead of custom profiles?

That looks like Poyurethane foam in the core of those panels. You can get it in the states. The linked material is natural color, but it can be had in black as well. Coosa is a modified PU foam with glass added as a stiffener.
