that was the reason i cut holes into my air box. so it sucks air in inside the engine compartment instead of through the fender. what a dumb location for an air intake.

Reading comp is usually ace (though I do tend to miss bits and pieces now and again due to skimming too quickly).
In this case I think I didn't miss anything. GL4x4, if you go back a page and read post #409 you'll see that I quoted your post - and it wasn't the one on the rods n block.

I can get to be pretty damn cranky at times - especially if the caffeine fix isn't sufficient before 10:00am or so. But I really did not mean for that to sound ugly. Maybe just a wee bit wise-assish as a retort to GL's friendly question, tho... )
