Nice shots I love it when I am traveling and the weather is nasty and you can just step into the back of your van and fix lunch, nap, whatever. That is what having a van is all about I can 4wheel for days on end in nasty weather with my van. Your van looking sharper with everything you do to it.

Well I promised pictures of the van with all of the items on it that i had planned to do since buying it. Before i get heckled (haha) about the running boards and mud flaps there are good reasons for them
#1, Protection - this thing will be running back roads/gravel roads a lot and with the little bit i've already done i have a number of rock chips.
#2, Its the law here - Up here vehicles lifted with larger tires are required to have flaps.
#3, My 5'2" pregnant wife looked like she was in a high jump competition each time she was getting into it. So running boards or step was a must.
#4, I actually like the way it looks with it all now, its kinda toned down the paint job.

Also, monday my folks, wife and I decided to head up and explore some areas in our back yard, South western Alberta. You'll be able to notice fall has certainly arrived with the snow that has already fallen. Roads were quite muddy but the flaps, flares and boards sure kept most of it off the side of the van. Great day over all.

That van is looking sharp I am with you on the mud flaps, first I think they look cool not sure why, they remind me either of an Icelandic van or the Dakar either way it protects the van and what ever you may be towing. The paint still gets my vote!

they are the Croc model in non-stainless at the bottom, and used a few sets of universal brackets to mount them.

I think that it looks great! Not to worry about the paint. It looked a little odd at first, but with the black bumpers it is not so bad after all.
