M 416 rear bumper

Has anyone fabbed up or modified a bumper for a M 416 trailer? I would like one for a little protection as well as a reciever hitch for a bike. Thanks Mike

Land Rover bumpers

I mounted Land Rover Military bumperettes to my m416 bumper. They match the ones on my army Rover. Not sure they add a ton of protection, but they help a bit and give me another place to stand when tying down the kayaks, etc.

Plan to repaint them and the frame of the trailer black to match the Rover better.

Like you, I'd love to also mount a 2 inch receiver to accept my Yakima bike rack.

Thanks Nice set up. I have a tailgate on my trailer so the se up would be a little different.

I welded up a 2"x4"x3/16" thick steel to the back and incorporated a receiver hitch. I feel sorry for the person who hits it.:shakin:
