These are in Okanogan Washington. The are being offeded in a sealed bid auction. I rode out to see them on Saturday. They are in BFE and I am the only one who had viewed them. They went to auction in November with no bids. The red M 37 is very complete and straight. The guy responsible for them says they ran when parked. The red one needs a distributer, the other has a bad clutch. I say total restoration, but they have great sheet metal and most if not all of the parts and hardware is there.
I am building an airplane and don't need another project right now. I have always liked these, but will hold out for an FC 180 that someone else sunk time and money into.

I can provide contact info via PM if you want.

oh...Oh... OHHHHH! Thats just MEAN! lol! Me wanty all!!! :) To bad I'm in Germany! :(
Side note... you mean FC170?

Yes on the side note, an FC170, or even the 150. I wouldn't be picky if I found the right one.
I have decided, after much thought and experience, that buying projects like this is not for me. I have the toold and skills to complete these, or anything like them, but the ends does not justify the means.
I am better off buying one that someone else put time and money into and now needs to sell it after enjoying it for a while. Just about anyone who does a project like this losses money on it. I would rather buy it, do a few details to make it really awesome, and then use it that same month, not 5 years and $1000's later.
Looking at the web for M 37's, I seen some great examples for around $7500 to about $12000 for a 6BT powered resto-mod.
I will be looking to do the same thing when I search for an FC or.........
