M100 Jeep trailer Project

I did a CJ7 tailgate on a trailer I still have, but the m100 is way cooler.
It's got history.And when the back was cut out I knew what I was going to do with it.
I've got a camo tarp coming soon! Here is a picture from the front.
I cut off a old wheel and mounted a landing leg, found this red box a buddy had
mounted right up. The M100's come with a box. sping is coming and I'm ready
to do more work on it.

I was out in the cold yesterday welding .better then welding in the heat.LOL
I finished welding the other spindle on the axle. I was going to start removeing the old axle but did not want to just let it sit there. I have the saddles and pads all ready to go. Will try to post a picture soon. I got a tip
about a axle for sale but I already have all the tings I need to make this work.

Looks good. I like the red box. It's always good to have more storage space for gear .

See the M100 should come with the box.The brackets were all ready there.
I'm going to paint it but for now it's red. They say you put the canvas top in it .Right now I've got a trap and some bungies in there. I ordered a camo top
from Surplus Canada Should be here end of the week.

Let me know what your thoughts are of that camo tarp. I've seen them on ebay, but I wasn't sure what the quality would be.

I welded Jeep CJ spindles to a axle tube and added 6 bolt hubs.
next step weld on saddles and U bolt top blocks.Then I'm going to remove the
homemade 2" box axle. get some Ubolts and then I will have a new M100 axle.

How cool is this? I mounted 2 fiberglass bows in side my M100 and
put the NOS Camo tarp on.

The box is now painted Rust O Army Green No Joke that's the color!

I'm going to paint the Jeep letters offwhite. And Hope to finish the
new M100 Axle soon with CJ 6 bolt hubs and CJ rims.

I picked up a receptacle cover for my M100 today at a Military show
from Peter Debella Jeep parts.The guys got everything to rebuild any thing

The Army Green did not grow on me. It made me sick LOL
So I picked up some Krylon Camouflage 4293 Olive. Ultra-Flat
Non-reflective nature color. Dries in 15 minutes!
I painted the box and the front of the trailer.
It looks much better. I'll get a picture up soon.

Quick drying paint is the bet thing since sliced bread.
