M100 Jeep trailer Project

I tow with both my CJ7 and my TJ. My CJ7 I have the trailer plug in the rear
bumper, on my TJ It was mounted below the hitch. So I holesawed the bumper to fit the plug and now it' sout of the way. When I took the TJ off road I used to hit the bracket no any more.

Jeep Panels shipped my rear panel

I ordered a new rear panel for my M100 trailer. Jeep Panels sent it right out. I wasn't happy about the tailgate cut from the Gov't entity that had it before me. I plan on welding in the new panel and putting it back as original. I tried out the 15 inch chrome rims with 10.50x15 tires. Quite a bit sticking out past the original fenders.Hmmm---

I found out the springs are to long on my M100. I think they are for a later model CJ. 41" and it should be 36 1/4". I've got a plan to work on it this
winter.

I got greaseable spring bolts from Crown Automotive they deal in Jeep parts.
I might get some New Springs or use my buddys old ones that are the right size.

What did you do with the tailgate? I've got a BTC3 with a bent gate, thought this might be the perfect replacement if you still have it and the dimensions are the same.

All my CJ7 tail gates are on my trailers.
I traded in my 01 TJ for a 05 Rubicon my new tow rig.
I'll have to get some pictures up as to what it looks like now towing
the M100.The side steps are now gone.
