So, anyone with an M101CDN do a Spring Over Axle mod to it? Anyone know of a DIY tutorial or something of the like to give me an idea of what I'm getting myself into? Thanks! :ylsmoke:
Yup, I did one, it's relatively easy. I also swapped out the axle at the same time. We did one on the trail head on our Alaska Cruiser Trek. The Y line of the ebrake may need some new mounting holes but it is straight forward once you get into it. You can even leave the shocks in place and reuse them
I did one as well. i didnt have much for tools so i jacked the trailer up on blocks. took the wheels off, tool axle off. then the springs. fliped the axle over so the perches were on top
then bolted the springs to the axle loosely. then aligned then spings in the perches and bolted everything down nice and tight. i wasnt able to get the parking brake to work again with the original y plate so a new one would have to be made.
