M101A2/M116A2 *frame* dimensions and tilt bed Q???

Can a M101A2 or M116A2 owner post up the frame width & length (not the bed/tub, but the frame)?

Also, regarding the tilt system on these trailers...

If you replaced the military axle with a standard trailer axle w/electric brakes, you'd lose the hand brake functionality. However, if you turned up the sensitivity adjustment on the brake controller and feathered the brakes while backing up, would it lock the trailer tires, allowing you to tilt the bed in that fashion? Just brainstorming here...

Replace the military axle with a standard trailer axle w/ electric brakes AND parking brake feature. Dexter has ones that have both incorporated.

That might work if you no longer had the hand brake. Maybe back up with big wheel chocks behind the tires. That might be enough to lift the body up and dump.

From the M101a2 M101a3 manual
Cargo box is 100"x73.5" and 19.84"tall
The frame is 145"x71.3" and 30" tall

Not sure if that helps...

Good info, but I'm looking for the frame width. Does 44" sound right? I saw a reference to this width after searching Google.
