M1101/1102 Huck Bolt Removal Question

For those that have been converting M1101/2 trailers, what's the easiest way to remove the huck bolts that attach the Jerry Can holder to the chassis?

Or, you could center punch the head, drill it down & punch it out.

I used my grinder, a prybar and the biggest hammer I could get my hands on

Just use an angle grinder to cut it off and then punch it out. An old screwdriver or a punch will work. I've removed plenty of them.

What size Huck Bolts are used on the M1101 trailers? Need to replace a few.

You might be ahead to just call Schutt Industries and ask them. They are very forthcoming with information and should help you out with that.
