New 35" tires on 16" wheels
New brake lights - military and LED bars
New 7 pin wiring harness
New army spec trailer light harness
Interior partition removed - fully open trailer body
Magnetic door catches on rear doors
Gas struts hold gull wing doors open

New adjustable front jack - Army spec
New adjustable rear prop/stand - Army spec
Trailer hitch fab'd into rear frame for a bike rack or other accessories

We've gone back and forth with different designs, could be a sleep inside trailer like a tear drop or mount a roof top tent on a slide that comes out the gull wing and another slide pulling out the rear doors for the kitchen and gear storage. (www.slide-master.com) Not doing a lot of camping in the near future (moved on to racing/motorsports). Rather see it go to a good home than wait for me to get back to it.

Located in Mandeville, Louisiana - 30 miles from New Orleans

Bump.

Any idea on weight?

What do you think the weight capacity of the rear hitch receiver is?

I think this trailer is about 1500 lbs empty. The rear hitch is welded in and attached to the back channel and tied to the next one up. I wanted it for a step and to put a bike rack on the back. You could also put a hitch carrier on it, but you'd want to watch the tongue weight.

Looking to swap my axle too…any idea on the specs you went with?

What I did was buy my wheels and tires first. Then mounted those on the existing axle. Then take measurements on each side and figure out how far to move the tires inward (or outward if that's what you want to do). I was keeping the same bolt pattern, so this was easy. My axle was way, way too wide, someone used something they had laying around...

It really is simple though, just take your time with a tape measure and you'll be fine.
