Here is the progress of the lid. We did some additional tub reinforcement and made the lid go over the sides to make a better seal and keep the tailgate closed. I am going to put some limit straps on the lid to prevent it from opening to far.

Where did you get your new shackle kit? I'd like to get rid of my old worn C-shackles...although I don't really need/want a lift...

I got the shackles and almost every other replacement part on amazon. I got 1 " lift shackles for a cj3.

Nice work on that lid! Whats the details on that garage? Tongue and groove ceiling?? 10' doors? It looks amazing.

I believe it is tongue and groove with 10' doors. It's not my garage. It is the sheet metal guys place. The little rinky dink garage in most of the pics is my garage.

Work continues. I have pretty much dismantled the entire trailer and started ironing out the bugs. I have also been installing lots of goodies! Linear actuators, fridge and slide, tongue box, battery, inverter charger, reverse/area lights, and box light are a few of the thing I have been doing. I also have the lid and tub out to paint. I am having trouble uploading pics, so maybe I will try tomorrow.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am currently on a camping trip to the coast of Maine trying out the newest modifications. In the past few weeks I have wired up the tongue box with an Optima blue top battery and 2000 watt inverter/charger, installed linear actuators and stand offs to the rack system, relocated parking brake due to actuator addition, added led reverse lights that double as area flood lights, put an led light inside the lid, installed led rope lighting inside the tent, painted the wheels, painted the tub/lid, and added some custom lettering. I still have plans for a few more things, but my build is getting near completion.
