I like the color. You need to post a pic of your tow vehicle. It's a never ending project, I'm always upgrading mine with ideas I get from other people on here. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

diamond plate

I have been working 7 days a week for over a month now. Finally getting back to work on the trailer. Today I picked up the diamond plate for the tub, and all the materials for the tailgate. I also installed all new wiring and LED lights.

Finished the light wiring today and made some extensions for the parking brake.

Thanks Mark. The tub and lid are going to be gloss black, I am also going to put a black to tounge box on it. I am hopefully going to be able to cut out and replace the floor tomorrow with 1/8 diamond plate. Then I will be on to the tailgate, followed by the lid.

Tub

This morning I resumed work on the tub. I started cutting out the floor at 0800 this morning and at 0830 a Major came into my driveway and told me that I had to stop what I was doing because I was being to loud and it was his day off and his kids were sleeping. After confirming that quiet time was over at 0630 I resumed cutting. I haven't been so enraged in a long time. Stay out of my driveway and mind your own business. Sorry for the vent, the nerve of some people.
Today I removed the floor and the remaining rot. I was able to get the patches tacked into place and started welding them up.

Today I started fitting the bed and reattaching the floor.

Widen the fenders to cover the tires. You will be happy and so will those behind you.

Going to look great with that color combo.

I probably will eventually widen the fenders, but I am just trying to get it done, so I can go camping before the summer is over. When the tub is black and it has the tongue box on it, the orange will be just a highlight color.

Today I reinforced the tub with some gussets and installed the tailgate.
