MacPro GPS and Garmin 60cxs - Cacheable or downloadable aerials? How do I do it?

I have a Macbook computer, a Garmin 60cxs handheld gps, and the MacPro GPS software along with all the topo / quad maps for the MacPro software for the state of Colorado. For those unfamiliar with this software, you can integrate your handheld GPS into your computer and do everything on your computer screen - set up tracks, waypoints, chart travel and elevation change, all that real time while on the move.

Anyways, I'd like to be able to download or cache aerial imagery so I can see that while traveling in addition to the topo map information. Does anyone know how to do that? Where to get the images from? (Are the images GIS referenced or somehow tied to the coordinate system?) It'd be awesome to be able to have, say, GoogleEarth while on the move, or even a 2D aerial image.

Thanks for any help.

You can buy an annual subscription ($30?) to digitalglobe from garmin. Works great on my Garmin Colorado, but I don't know if the 60vxs is supported.
