Madagascar - recommendations?

We're contemplating a 2-3 weeks last minute trip to Madagascar in December. We're just starting to looking into this now.

Any recommendation on a car rental company? Any place not to be missed knowing we want to go hiking?

No firsthand knowledge of the area, however when i checked my map. I have a few places listed. Since they are National Parks, probably already on your list.
