Anybody on here close to this? Anyone know if these can be shipped? Maybe greyhound?

Thanks

Jason
I have the exact same tent and mine had to be shipped by truck freight when I bought it off the internet; too big and heavy for greyhound. Was about $200 to truck it from AZ to VA.

This appears to be a very good price for a good tent.

thanks for info. Hopefully shippin from California to Idaho won't be quite as much. How do you like your tent? Would you buy one again given the choice between the Maggiolina and the traditional folding tent?

Just an FYI, folks...ads generally run for 7 days on craigslist, so you may want to print it to save the contact info if interested. It looks like this will end today or tomorrow.

Love my Maggiolina. Both, the hard shell as well as the traditional tents have advantages. Biggest advantage of the traditional RTT is bigger living space and that it takes up less space on the roof. Advantages of the hard shell tent that it is a real breeze to set up and take down, no cover that can flop around when driving, sleeping bags and some other stuff can stay up there when closed and no matter how hard it rains, so far the inside of my Maggiolina always staid dry. I definitely would go with a Maggiolina again, but not with the Adventure as this roof basket is pretty much useless. I would go with the AirLand for the better aerodynamics.

I am pleased that someone on ExPo got this tent. I got several calls with questions from people who were interested.

Congratulations jrose609!!

Thank you! I'm excited. Another ExPo member, Cumminscruiser (aka Bill), went out and looked at the tent for me. He lives close to the seller. Bill did an EXCELLENT job checking the tent over. I spoke with the seller about a few concerns, and he made them right.

Also, the seller just happened to know someone heading to Boise from the California area next week, and that person was happy to haul the tent home. Seems the person had a van and a trailer with lots of extra room.

So, a good tent, no shipping costs, a good price, and a Happy Me!

Thanks!

Jason
