Magnuson SC on 2013 JK

Finally got the cohones and pulled the trigger. Running 4.88’s and 37’s and simply can’t believe how the drivability of the Jeep is improved in EVERY aspect. Install was pretty simple with the instructions. Only real issue was paying attention to ft lbs and inch pounds on the torque wrench. Took a full day. Also replaced coils , plugs and radiator hoses while at it. If anyone is on the fence on this, you will be amazed at how well it performs.

Looks pretty sweet how much hp and torque did you gain and while not the same i went from a2008 jkur with 315 70s to a 2018 jlur with 315 70s and it just proves the old saying ?.........more power !

It should be in the 400 hp zone now with the standard boost set up. It is definitely not what I call “breaking stuff” hp but more like an awesome power band with really smooth power. I think on a auto you would notice it more on your first run but on the stick it took a couple runs and now I’m 10k miles on it. With my 6 speed you fly through the gears. Good head wind and in 6th I can accelerate. Pulling boat I had to be in 4th and now I can not only keep speed in 5th but I can also accelerate. My shifts have been reduced by 40-50%. Not that the Jeep is fast but also gained 5 seconds on my best 0-60. I do drive with a pretty light throttle and in longer highway trips I gain about 2 mpg’s. I know not allot and if you drive a lifted Jeep it’s not a number you will be concerned with, but anything helps. When you do get on it, you can easily keep up with most trucks and other large SUV’s. It simply makes the Jeep a whole lot better driver in every way. And if you are mechanically inclined, don’t hesitate on tackling the job on your own. It’s not hard, just a slow process.
