Manual hubs for 2005+ Tacoma?

Are there manual locking hubs available for the 2005+ Tacoma? I need to replace my wheel bearings and while I am in there am looking to isolate the hubs from the differential. My understanding is that with OEM hubs...I am turning the diff all day long even when not in 4WD...
Thanks
Matt

no manual hubs, you arent "turning the diff all day" if i remember, the vacuum lock disconnects one axle at the diff so it doesnt spin and the ring gear contented to the other axle spins but not the carrier. i think but not totally sure. i remember reading somewhere that that the front diffs in tacoma's wont pick up any mpgs with manual hubs with this system and theres minimal wear on the cv's on the side connected to the ring gear.

but i may be blow smoke out my ...:victory:

the only thing spinning inside ur diff are your spider gears, there are no conversions available yet and i doubt there will be and if there is they will be in the thousands just like they are for the chevy's. dont worry about it, if your going through cv boots fast your lifted to high and need to lower it because your stressing averything else(ball joints upper and lower, tres, ect)
