Just watch the Mow-verlanding episode of Dirt Every Day? Funny? Yes. Practical? Probably not.
I will say that in my high school and college years me and some friends would go "off-roading" on riding mowers. Remove the mower deck, weld the diff, put on some ATV tires, and a riding mower will go surprisingly far. Change the pulleys so you can go a little faster than 5 MPH. Real good fun, but I never camped off of it.

I love my Ryobi electric mower so much. It goes anywhere I wanted it to go and has tons of torque that I just finished moving 4 dead trees.

Hell...my mower spends fsr kore time off road than my truck ever will...haha.
DUI laws are applicable to offenders on riding lawn mowers, even on private property...
