Yes, they are 33's. I already trimmed the fenders when I instilled the steel rims but with the extra width of the tires the left front tire does rub when turn to the right.

I don't know squat about wheel offsets but do you think this setup would produce the same (just a slight rub...nothing crazy)

With a 285/70r17 tire must you would have to do is remove the mud flaps.

cool...i'll play around with it. my mud flaps are already off.

I already know 285/75/16 works with a 2" lift
trying to guess if wider (305's like yours) would work...

Well, is time for me to upgrade my front suspension set up. I just received my 2.5 ICON coilovers from http://prerunnerparts.com/. Got a great deal on them, only paid $800.:ylsmoke:

These things are huge and a far cry from my old set up. I hope to have them on tomorrow.:bike_rider:

I installed the coilovers few days ago. I haven't had a chance to test them out on the trails but there a defiant improvement on road driving. I did have a question about the install but ICON was able to give me an answer the minute I call. I was really impress. No switch broad to go though or waiting for a tech.

Here are the coilovers installed.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take my truck out and get a feel for the new coilovers and tires. For the most part I am pleased with both. My only concern now is the weight of the new tires and the steel rims. I this point I my going to try and find a set of alloy wheels to my liking.

Nice. Do the coilovers alone provide a front lift of 2.5"?

Yes, the coilover are what lifts the front suspension. You can adjust the lift from anywhere from no lift up 3" of lift. They come preset at 2" of lift and I turn mine up to 3" of lift.

The 2.5" is the diameter of the shock.
