Even a low single digit millionaire can't even afford these half to mil dollar pickup campers. Toys for the very wealthy that can just buy them with ca$h. With current interest rates, this half mil truck would be over a million dollars over a 15 or 20 year RV loan.
Yeah but think about the boating/yachting world. Unicats, Earthroamers etc, are cheap compared to many boats/yachts people buy.

I'm curious as well. But then, a rig this size isn't really intended to be a rig for overhead-branch-strewn trails. No way to fit a rig like this on our local mountain trails. Like all these types of rigs, more of an open space or desert rig.
3/4" to 1" thick Lexan is damn near indestructible. It will scratch, as it is a softer plastic than acrylic, but this is what gives it the ability to flex instead of shatter. Lexan/Makrolon can be coated with anti-scratch coatings, which help somewhat, but they do not offer the performance of marine-grade or toughened glass. There is no comparison.

It's been 6 months since anyone talked about how the development of these units is going. Has anyone been in contact with them to see whether they are getting into actual production? I haven't really seen any dealers that are showing the Storyteller Hilt either and there isn't much talk from TruckHouse.

♫ Off road, again. Just can't wait to get...
Last I heard from Supertramp they had several 2024 Megatron build slots reserved and going into production. They had limited slots available for 2024. Not sure if they will be expanding Megatron slots for 2025 or that would require expanding again to accommodate, but they didn't want to impact their Flagship throughput. They've been busy bringing the Megatron to a lot of shows this summer and fall so a fair bit of content on YT.

Production HILTS have been delivered and GXV is building production EPICS but have not seen any deliveries yet.

TruckHouse excelled at bringing trucks to shows and producing absolutely bupkus in the form of a production-ready or delivered-to-customer vehicle. Hopefully these guys get their kit together, but this isn't the best market to launch high-dollar shiny objects in. Look around for used toyhaulers, motorcoaches, Earthroamers and so on for sale, at deeply discounted prices. They are everywhere.

Is anyone from EOG/Megatron on this board?

Where would one find one of the deeply discounted Earthroamers you speak of??

May depend on what you call deeply discounted I guess, but there are many with 20k to 50k miles from $350 and up on ER's website. A new one is about $800. There is a 2008 on RVT for $220 with 90k miles.

I did see a used Hilt on RV Trader so they must have sold some of them.
