Not recently :-(

My Uncle-in-law even works for Michelin and can't get 'em for me :-( Let me know if you're lucky though!

pskhaat....does your family member have an "MSPN" for this tire? I have seen them in my warehouse (Michelin's newest DC) but not sure they are a 16" rim.

I'm currently out of work for a few months but i can make a call and have inventory checked.

Hmm, I can certainly check. I basically said I wanted 9.50R16 XZLs and he made the calls. I'll see if I can get ahold of him this week.

Me too :)

It appears that only the 20 and 22" wheel sizes are available right now (according to my sources at Michelin).

During a quik search i found the following, perhaps it's worth a phone call. I'll have someone at work check on this also.

Not part of the Michelin/MVPA tire deal, but a good find on some 900r16 XZL tires was discovered by Randy on the dodgepowerwagon.com forum. He contacted Bill's tires in Pacheco, CA, (ph 925.689.2678) in March 2002, and found out that he's got about 800 in his stock. He said that would probably last about a month. They are brand new tires (never been used but they have been sitting on a shelf for about 3-4 years) for $165 each plus tax and shipping. On May 22, 2002, Randy reported that Bill's Tire Supply in Pacheco, CA had access to 63 Michelin 9.00 X 16 XL's. These are brand new tires and the price is reported to be $190.00 including the federal tax.

Not to hijack, but why do you guys want these tires so bad? And why are they so hard to get?

Thanks

The compound is supposed to be superior both in traction and longevity. However, it's a fantastic size at like a 36x10.00r16 or something 'round there.

That's about what I heard, 36" x 10" on a 16" rim. Makes my 33x9.50 BFG AT pizza cutters look positively fat!

BTW, check them out on Rovers:

They are not listed at our DC on the WICS (Warehouse Inventory Control System) in a 16" wheel. Sorry, hoped i could help out. :(

WOW.

And I thought everybody was going bonkers with those BFG 255/85 16 suckers. First person to get these really wins. They're so damn narrow they've only got one row of lugs. Sweet.
