mid 60's alaskan camper question

I am trying to seal the deal on a mid 60's alaskan camper. I want to throw it onto my crewcab ford so that I can keep the roof of my cab clean for a rack.
I have been trying to find out what the interior height of the camper is when lifted. Anyone here have a clue? It is a couple of hours away, and the old guy that owns it is not in the shape to go out and measure for me.

6'6"...That's been the standard interior height like forever. We're talking headroom right?

Not sure why you mentioned that...it doesn't have any apparent bearing on interior height so clarify if I misunderstood your question. Moe

nope, that was the info I was looking for. I was afraid that I was going to be rebuilding the thing so I could stand up straight in it. At 6'2, I get tired of hitting my head in short campers. The line about the roof rack was just extra info. Thinking while I was typing.

Well, the first camper fell through and I ended up buying another alaskan that is the over the cab model. It needs some work from some rot on the outsides of the upper half. I will get some pictures up when I pick her up on Wednesday.
