coming from someone in the Xterra community a few things . . . first, lose the step rails if you can. they are damage mulitpliers on a trip lol. secondly, the wheels look like pretty decent quality pro-comps. i like the type, just not the chrome. i would second your idea of sanding down and painting. you will have some solid wheels with decent offset most likely. enjoy!
looks like there is about a 2 inch lift on that. apologize if i missed this, but what type of lift is it?

Its an ome med duty. Supposed to be 1.75" lift, but the original owner added this over a year ago and it's still a legit 2" taller than stock still. He had measured it more than once.

The side steps will be gone in favor of sliders.....just not this calendar year. Probably a spring time addition.

I have to say, you ended up with a real gem! OME kit on it already and some beefy tires. It looks great.

I'm with you on the wheels, I don't think they look great. That being said, I'm rarely a fan of any aftermarket wheels. They might look okay if you had them coated somehow, but I'm picky with wheels.

I'm looking at a set of Walker Evans if I decide to keep upgrading my X. I'm contemplating an F250/350 CCSB build. Decisions decisions lol
